MIDDLESEX MANOR SHOWCASE THEIR CULTURAL DIVERSITY

Residents at Bupa’s Middlesex Manor Nursing Centre, Wembley, Middlesex, are looking forward to celebrating their cultural awareness event on Saturday 14 August from 3pm. The event celebrates the different cultures and nationalities of staff and residents within the home, through a combination of food, traditional dress and songs and dance. Countries that will be showcased on the day include Barbados, Nigeria, India, Jamaica, Ghana, Poland, Mauritius and Lebanon. The event has been running successfully for the last five years and highlights the cultural diversity of staff within Bupa Care Homes. Members of the community are warmly invited to come along on the day and join the fun! Sonia Verzosa, home manager at Bupa’s Middlesex Manor Nursing Centre says: “This is a lovely event for all of the residents, relatives and local community to come along to. It is always a very popular event and everyone enjoys sampling the different foods and being entertained by staff in their traditional dress.”
