MOUNT HALL CELEBRATE WITH A TEDDY BEARS’ PICNIC

Bupa’s Mount Hall Nursing Home, Flash Lane, Bollington Cross, Macclesfield, invited residents, their families and their favourite teddy bear to celebrate with a teddy bears’ picnic held on Wednesday 2 September. The event included entertainment from an accordion player, with residents and staff joining in for a sing-a-long, with hits including If you go down to the woods today. Sandwiches, iced buns and cups of tea were enjoyed by all and not even the bad weather could dampen the mood. Pam Haydock, activity co-ordinator of Mount Hall, says: “We thought a teddy bears’ picnic was something that everyone could enjoy and some of the teddies brought back many happy memories. It was a very enjoyable day.”
