SPOOKY HALLOWEEN FUN AT MEADOW BANK

Residents at Bupa’s Meadow Bank Nursing and Residential Home, Bamber Bridge, Preston are looking forward to celebrating Halloween on Friday 30 October from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. The home will welcome a mobile zoo complete with spooky inhabitants that include spiders, snakes and owls. Residents will be encouraged to handle and touch the animals. The event is open to the community and welcomes children and relatives to visit and get their picture taken with the animals for £1.00 each. Halloween shaped cookies and a concoction of spine chilling refreshments will be served and all money raised will go towards the home. Children are encouraged to attend in their Halloween costumes and participate in trick or treating around the homes’ units. Becky Vernon, activity co-ordinator at Bupa’s Meadow Bank Nursing and Residential Home said: “Everyone is really excited at seeing the range of animals that are coming to the home and the event will be a fun night for all the family. Halloween is a great event to celebrate and everyone at the home participates in the celebrations, it should be a fantastic night.”
