THE HIGHGATE SUMMER FETE

Residents and staff at Bupa’s The Highgate Nursing Home, Highgate, London, are looking forward to their summer fete which is being held on Saturday 11 September from 2pm to 5pm. Attractions on the day will include bric-a-brac stalls, a tombola, a bottle stall, hook-a-duck, face painting, a raffle and lots more. Refreshments will be served and entertainment will be provided by Hornsey Girls Steel Band. Entry on the day is £1 for adults and 50p for children, and all proceeds raised on the day will be donated to Cancer Research. Members of the community are warmly invited to come along on the day and join the fun! Carol Quinn, home manager at The Highgate Nursing Home says; “This is a lovely event for all of the residents, relatives and local community to come and support the home and have a wonderful fun day out. We are hoping to raise a lot of money for Cancer Research and we hope it will be a great success and the sun shines for us.”
