THE MANOR HOUSE PUT THE KETTLE ON FOR THEIR CHARITY COFFEE AFTERNOON

Staff and residents at Bupa’s The Manor House Nursing Home, Moreton Road, Upton, Wirral held a coffee afternoon on Tuesday 13 October in support of St. John’s Hospice. The local community, friends, families and local housing associations were invited to the event. Christmas cards, gifts and hospice merchandise were on sale and afternoon tea and coffee was served. The Manor House are a regular supporter of St. John’s Hospice and hold this event yearly to raise the much needed funds for the hospice. All monies raised were match funded by Bupa’s Community Connections. Christine Varty, home manager at Bupa’s The Manor House, said: “We really enjoy hosting these events and they are very well received. All the residents had a great time at the event and we raised a lot of money to support a worthy cause. It was a very enjoyable afternoon.”
