WEST RIDINGS HELPS HAITI

Residents and staff at Bupa’s West Ridings Residential and Nursing Home, Lofthouse, Wakefield, will be holding a fundraising event for Haiti on Tuesday 2 March at 2.00pm. The home is inviting relatives, friends and the community to come and join in the fun and raise the much needed funds to help the Haitian people. All those attending the event will be serenaded by Swingfellows, a swing and jazz band, and a nail technician will be pampering the female residents and guests for a small donation. All monies raised will be fund matched by Bupa’s Community Connections. Sandra Hustwick, Bupa’s West Ridings home manager says: “Everyone is very passionate about raising money to help Haiti and we are very much looking forward to the performance by Swingfellows. All the ladies are excited about the pampering session and we hope the community will come and join us and help us raise money for this worthy cause.”
