WEST RIDINGS OPEN MORNING

Residents at Bupa’s West Ridings Residential and Nursing Home, Off Lingwell Gate Lane, Lofthouse, Wakefield, are holding a celebratory opening event on Thursday 08 October to launch the homes’ new rehabilitation unit, Kingsdale from 2.00pm to 3.30pm. The event will include live entertainment from male duo Swing Fellows and include a buffet. The home is looking forward to welcoming the wider community to view the home and enjoy the entertainment. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 2.30pm, with the Mayoress of Wakefield, Councillor Heather Hudson officially opening the unit. Sandra Hustwick, West Ridings home manager says: “This is a lovely event and something that we hope the community will enjoy. It will allow us to showcase the facilities of the new unit and the home and provide an entertaining afternoon.”
