Bure’s group of independent schools has acquired 100 per cent of the shares in Proteam. The company is active in the educational market and operates an independent high school in Stockholm. The acquisition will increase the Vittra Group’s net sales by approximately SEK 40 million.

Proteam (www.proteam.nu) operates three small independent high schools with a total of 270 pupils in the Swedish province of Östergötland. The company offers educational programmes in Automation, CNC, Industrial Welding and HVAC and Plumbing Engineering. These operations will eventually be coordinated with Framtidsgymnasiet, which has a similar orientation.

Bure’s group of independent schools is since the beginning of 2007 a unified group, today consisting of Vittra, IT Gymnasiet, Framtidsgymnasiet and Rytmus. After yesterday's acquisition of Rytmus and today's acquisition of Proteam the educational group provides education and care for around 9,700 children and pupils and has a turnover of SEK 750-800 million on a yearly basis.
