Bure-owned Cygate completes acquisition of Måldata Bure-owned Cygate acquires Måldata and thus strengthens its market position as a network integrator in the Nordic countries. Bure's ownership in Cygate amounts to 73 per cent. Following Cygate's announcement on 21 August 2002 about an agreement in principle to acquire Måldata Network Solutions from Sigma, Bure now confirms that the negotiations have been completed. "Cygate offers its customers secure infrastructure solutions for speech, data and video communication. The acquisition of Måldata brings the company additional breadth and expertise and strengthens Cygate's competitiveness in Sweden. Together, we will achieve sales of more than SEK 1,000M. We will have approximately 350 staff with operations in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Estonia and Lithuania," says Jan Stenberg, Chairman of Cygate.
