Bure acquires Network Management AB

Bure acquires Network Management AB Bure's new Business Area, Education, has acquired the training company, Network Management, from Securitas AB. Network Management, which reports sales of approximately SEK 30M and has 33 employees, is an IT training company in the network and data communication segment. Through the acquisition, Bure strengthens its position in IT Training. In addition to Network Management, Bure already owns Informator, Nordisk Datautbildning and Fama. Following the acquisition, total sales within IT Training amount to approximately SEK 200M. Network Management is the leading training company in networks and data communication in Sweden. "Our objective is to become a full-service supplier of IT training and Network Management complements already acquired companies very well as we now enter the fast-growing network and data communication segment. We anticipate rapid, continued growth, both organically and via acquisition," says Sven-Åke Lewin, Head of Business Area Education. Bure's Business Area Education was established in November 1998. The Business Area is divided into Business Sectors Corporate Training, which concentrates on IT, leadership and marketing training, and Schools which concentrates on compulsory schools and pre-school schools. Following the acquisition, Business Area Education reports annual sales of approximately SEK 500M. Further acquisitions are planned to be carried out over the next six months, especially within Corporate Training. The Business Area is therefore expected to achieve an annual sales rate of approximately SEK 1,000M as early as in 1999.
