Bure Health Care acquires AnorexiCenter Bure Health Care expands its operations in the treatment of eating disorders by acquiring AnorexiCenter in Varberg, Sweden. Since its start in 1992, AnorexiCenter in Varberg has treated patients with eating disorders. The operations, which currently have a sales of SEK 15M, are based on a cognitive treatment model focusing on the patient's active participation. "By becoming part of Bure Health Care, we now get an opportunity to develop and expand our operations. There is currently a considerable shortage of anorexia and bulimia care throughout Sweden," says Birgitta Jonsson, founder of AnorexiCenter. Bure Health Care already specialises in the treatment of eating disorders in Sweden, Great Britain and Switzerland.
