Bure sells its shareholding in Västsvenska Bygge och Bostad - continued concentration of investement operations Investment AB Bure has sold its 44 per cent holding in Västsvenska Bygge och Bostad Intressenter AB (VBI). Buyer is the management of VBI. The sale means a further step in the concentration of Bure´s investment operations. Following the divestment, VBI is owned by its management and by Förvaltnings AB Framtiden. During the period of Bure´s ownership, Västsvenska byggeoch Bostad has been developed into a concentrated construction company. In recent years, the subsidiary, GEAB in particular has expanded by incorporating supplementary operations, but also through a strengthened market position. "Bure has contributed actively to making possible a privatisation of the company which will now be able to continue to develop into a competitive cnstruction company with a dedicated management, " says Ole Johansson of Investment AB Bure. Bure´s operations are today concentrated on the Sectors Bure Health Care, Bure IT/InfoMedia and Bure Investments. As a step in this strategy of concentration, several divestments have been made which have also led to the fact that Bure Utveckling in its present form, as declared in the 9-Month Report, will be wound up at the end of the year.
