Bure Training and Education creates the largest training group

Bure Training and Education creates the largest training group within the IT- sector in Sweden - Informator Training Group takes overall grip on corporate IT training Bure Training and Education is integrating all the included IT training companies and thus creates the leading group of companies in the segment. The group of companies, which will be marketed under the name Informator Training Group, will offer a full range of IT training programmes around Sweden. Total sales will amount to more than SEK 200M on an annual basis. In connection with the formation of the company group, Nordisk Datautbildning and Fama will be merged. The group of companies will continue to work under the name Nordisk Datautbildning. At mid-year, Informator Training Group will include Informator Utbildning, Network Management and NDU Läromedel as well as Nordisk Datautbildning and Fama, which will merge on 1 July. The companies will have a joint marketing organisation and will offer a full range of IT courses in all locations in Sweden in which the Group is established. "The formation of Informator Training Group is fully in line with our strategy. In connection with the establishment of Bure Training and Education we studied the market for corporate training and found that the majority of companies seek an operator that is able to take a comprehensive grip on IT training. In Informator Training Group, we now gather everything from pure user training courses to diploma training programmes for special jobs. In addition, we create opportunities for faster growth in several locations through cross-fertilisation of the companies' various areas of expertise," says Sven-Åke Lewin, Head of Business Area Bure Training and Education. Informator Training Group is expected to report sales of SEK 200M on an annual basis and thus becomes the leading private supplier of IT training. The number of employees amounts to 115 and the operation has training centres in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. "We will strengthen our position as a result of the formation of Informator Training Group. The rapid development of information technology means that our customers' training requirements become increasingly complex. The companies prioritise IT training but at the same time place very strict demands that it can be applied direct in the operations and quickly make the company increasingly competitive. Spearhead expertise combined with a broad range is therefore immensely important in our continued expansion," says Mats Gröndahl who becomes President of Informator Training Group. Bure Training and Education includes Informator Training Group in Business Sector Corporate Training, which also comprises Mercuri International. Also included in Bure Education and Training is Business Sector Schools, which operates pre-schools and compulsory schools. Sales of Bure Training and Education currently amount to approximately SEK 850M on an annual basis.
