New organisation and structure - Bure creates five Business Areas for increased investment in knowledge-based growth companies As a result of Bure's expansion and sector-focusing, the Group will be split into five Business Areas. A new Business Area, Education will be created while, at the same time, Business Area IT/InfoMedia will be divided into two separate areas. In connection with the change, Ulf Ivarsson is appointed Executive Vice President and Deputy President. The new Heads of Business Areas are Björn Boldt-Christmas for IT and Sven-Åke Lewin for Education. From 9 November 1998, Bure will consist of five Business Areas: Health Care with Per Båtelsen as Head of Business Area and in addition Executive Vice President of the Parent Company. InfoMedia with Ulf Ivarsson as Head of Business Area and in addition Executive Vice President of the Parent Company and Deputy President. IT with Björn Boldt-Christmas as Head of Business Area. Education with Sven-Åke Lewin as Head of Business Area. Investments with Per-Henrik Berthelius as Head of Business Area. "The new organisation is a consequence of our vigorous investment in Education, the rapid growth in IT and InfoMedia companies as well as in the Health Care Sector," says Roger Holtback, President of Bure. "At the same time, the organisation is an important step in Bure's increased sector- focusing in which the predominant part of our operations will be concentrated on knowledge-based growth companies, primarily within the service sector." In addition to the five Business Areas, Asset Management is - as before - included as an integral part of the Parent Company.
