Barclays and BCSG announced as finalists for Financial World Innovation Awards 2012

Partners Barclays and BCSG are proud to be shortlisted in the ‘Innovation in customer propositions and product design – Financial services – Retail’ category for their online marketing training workshop ThriveOnline.

Now in its fifteenth year, the Financial World Innovation Awards (FWIA) has grown to become a prestigious event in the financial services calendar, recognising examples of creativity, imagination and vision across the industry. Barclays and BCSG have overcome stiff competition to be named as finalists alongside Nationwide Building Society and RateSetter. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony hosted at the Grand Connaught Rooms in the City of London on Thursday 29th November 2012.

The ‘Innovation in customer propositions and product design – Financial services – Retail’ category recognises companies who have designed and launched unique products that fit customer needs whilst offering improved service and generating enhanced engagement.

ThriveOnline is a one day practical and interactive workshop designed to help Barclays Business customers use cost-effective online marketing tools to establish their business online presence, attract customers to their website and grow their business. This unique concept was developed based on a shared vision held by Barclays and BCSG to offer small businesses expert, yet affordable training across several online marketing disciplines.
