Finnish companies launch groundbreaking innovations at Hannover Messe 2017
The latest breed of the Finnish IIoT superstars will arrive at the Finland pavilion Hall 16, Stand D10, on Monday 24th of April, as Finnish companies launch altogether five groundbreaking innovations.
Finland has more to offer than just Nokia and cellphones. The Nordic country was a global forerunner in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) already in the 1990s, when others were in awe of SMS. Supported by Finland’s deep-rooted digital skills, Finnish companies showcase their latest solutions at Hannover Messe 2017.
At the event, thirteen Finnish companies specializing in the IIoT come together under the theme beyond industry 4.0, providing not only technical efficiency, but also delivering value creation and facilitating innovation as well as new services and business models.
The Finnish presence at the exhibition takes off with five product launches on Monday 24th of April. The program starts at 11 o’clock. Members of the press are more than welcome to join the launch sessions.
For starters, Tosibox will launch their new product “Virtual Central Lock – Harness IoT to your service”. Moreover, Wirepas will present something completely new with a title “IoT is not a scary buzzword – it’s a technology to enhance your processes”.
After a short break, Augumenta will open up the afternoon session with a launch of new Augmented Reality product suite focusing on industry use cases. Meanwhile, Delfoi will launch a new generation Delfoi Planner 4.0 for production planning and scheduling. To wrap it up, Bittium will present a real-time awareness solution for improving the safety of mobile workforce.
“The product launches will highlight how our companies go beyond the traditional meaning of the IIoT,” says Reijo Smolander, Program Director at Finpro. “For them, efficiency is just a starting point, opening up a completely new world of services and business models. Through connectivity, they combine data acquisition and analytics with the latest interactive visualization technologies, services and applications, providing a comprehensive offering for the whole digital value chain.”
Companies at a glance
In addition to the five above mentioned product launchers, the Finnish company delegation at Hannover Messe 2017 includes industrial smart service and solution company Distence, real-time data collector and capitalizer TreLab and information technology company Wapice, which provides the likes of IoT platforms.
Moreover, Enersense has a focus on industrial project services, and CS Control Software specializes in industry automation. Meanwhile, Creoir has their competences in wireless product design and IoT solutions. Additionally, the Finland pavilion will enjoy the presence of the digitalization analytics hub Analytics+, Finnish IoT platform SuperIoT, that showcases innovation activities in Finland, as well as Smart Machines and Manufacturing Competence Centre SMACC.
