BWG Homes delivers strong results

(Oslo 15 May 2008) Operating revenues for the 1st quarter 2008 amounted to NOK 858 million, up NOK 73 million (9.4 %) compared to the 1st quarter 2007 (pro forma). EBIT for the quarter was NOK 106 million, up NOK 10 million (10.2 %) compared to the corresponding quarter 2007 (proforma). The EBIT margin was 12.4 % against 12.3 % for the 1st quarter 2007.

- Despite fluctuations in the housing market, the Group increased its operating revenues and operating profit in the quarter and achieved satisfactory margins. The market situation is still affected by financial turbulence and a volatile housing sector. The Group's order intake for Q1 was 20.9 percent lower than in the same period in 2007. In April, the Group reported a good order intake, and was able to show 19 percent growth compared with April 2007, comments CEO Lars Nilsen in BWG Homes.
