The world's third-largest online poker presence, Swedish-owned PokerNetwork, has changed its name to Ongame Network. The change reflects the network’s expanded gaming portfolio. As of autumn 2005, Ongame Network offers not only a premium poker platform with almost 6 million registered players, but also a full suite of casino games.

The new portfolio comprises exciting multi-player casino games such as Craps, Roulette, Millennium Ride (Let it Ride), Blackjack, Caribbean Pirate Poker, PaiGow Poker, Video Poker Multi-hand and a variety of slot machines with Mega progressive jackpots. The Sultan’s Treasure slot machine game, for example, will launch later this year on PokerRoom.com with a $300,000 starting jackpot guarantee. As with all Ongame Network games, players from operators’ sites are aggregated to create massively-networked progressive jackpots that will quickly become the largest ever offered online! “Multi-player casino games and Blackjack tournaments, along with high quality graphics, will differentiate Ongame Network from the broad offering that currently exists in this part of the industry”, says David Flynn, Director of Ongame Network. The name change, which also reflects the network’s ownership by the Swedish Ongame Group, will take effect in October 2005.
