Hydrochar can potentially revolutionize the biogas space

 ​C-Green is exploring a new application called BioBooster, where biogas production in existing biogas plants could significantly increase by adding hydrochar as a catalyst. Environmental and chemical companies as well as energy giants are seeking ways to valorize sludge and hydrochar. This has resulted in several agreements with customers and potential partners for sludge testing and application testing of hydrochar.

Gate and tipping fees for sludge are surging in continental Europe, which will further improve the financial returns on our projects. We are now focusing on securing long-term financing and finalizing the Ragn Sells’ biorefinary in Sweden, achieving state-of-the-art performance. Together with a number of asset management projects, these activities will help us achieve our value-driven milestones during 2024 and beyond.
