A successful C-RAD representation at the ESTRO meeting in Barcelona

C-RAD AB with its five fully owned subsidiaries are all active in the field of radiation therapy. The company attended the European oncology and physicist meeting ESTRO in Barcelona, Spain, 9-13 May 2011. The wide use of the C-RAD solutions in radiation therapy was presented.

The annual ESTRO meeting is the largest recurring event in Europe where companies in the radiation therapy market meet with end customers and partners. At this year’s event, the C-RAD booth was centrally located close to major LINAC vendors.

 In the booth C-Rad presented its solutions for Radiation Therapy. The new concept with the three different applications for the C-RAD Sentinel and Catalyst systems plus the GEMini detector panel showed good results and attracted many customers from all over Europe but also from Asia and America.

C-Rad presented the 4DCT solution based on the Sentinel Hardware and the Catalyst for Motion Monitoring and Respiratory Gating. C-RAD together with Elekta could for the first time show a full integrated solution for auto set up with six degrees of freedom. The most advanced Elekta couch HexaPod was exhibited at the C-RAD booth. Customers highlighted the usability and the clinical advantages for different cancer indications. The usage of C-RAD Systems improves accuracy, efficiency and at the same increases safety in the radiation therapy department.
