C-RAD AB with its three fully owned subsidiaries develops new and innovative
solutions for the use in advanced radiation therapy. The company has signed a
cooperation agreement with Medical Intelligence GmbH, Schwabmunchen, Germany,
an Elekta company. The agreement includes both technical and commercial
cooperation.

Medical Intelligence is a world-leading supplier of advanced and innovative
radiation oncology and interventional guidance products for precise and
reliable patient positioning and the center of excellence within the Elekta
Group for advanced patient positioning and fixation.

The agreement includes technical and commercial cooperation in order to
introduce an efficient and high quality workflow in the radiation therapy
clinic based on the C-RAD SentinelTM laser scanner system and the robotic
patient positioning platform. The combined system with its unique solution
will, with sub-millimeter precision and highest efficiency, position the
patient in six degrees of freedom. This means that the patients position prior
to radiation treatment can be precisely adjusted not only in the x, y & z
space, but also in the three rotational directions (roll, pitch and yaw).
Compared to conventional positioning procedures, deviations in roll and pitch
is detected and adjusted automatically.

Erik Hedlund, CEO, C-RAD AB:

"The agreement with Medical Intelligence and the Elekta Group is a major
milestone for C-RAD in developing high precision solutions for use in advanced
radiation therapy. As Elekta is one of the major suppliers of solutions in
radiation therapy we consider the agreement with Medical Intelligence as a vote
of confidence for the C-RAD technology. It is a confirmation of the C-RAD
SentinelTM laser scanner concept as a tool for increased accuracy in
combination with a high level of efficiency in patient positioning and
monitoring procedures."
