C Technologies subsidiary Anoto cooperates with market leaders on the paper product market in South East Asia Anoto has reached an agreement with several renowned Asian producers and distributors in order to manufacture and distribute digital paper products based on the Anoto technology. The first digital products will be introduced at the end of 2001/beginning of 2002. Paper manufacturers and distributors have long been looking for a link with the digital world. This natural link is now made possible by the Anoto concept and it will for example be possible to send handwritten notes directly from a paper as a graphical e-mail, fax or SMS. "With partners like A'zone, Chee Wah and Grandluxe we have managed to secure a position on important Asian markets including Singapore and Hongkong. As a test market for GPRS, the Singapore/Hong Kong regions are of particular interest to Anoto. Mobile phones and PDA adapted to the Bluetooth technology are widely accepted in these parts", says Christer Fåhraeus, VD Anoto AB. · A'zone Corporation Pte Ltd, founded in 1978, manufactures and distributes high end paper products in South East Asia.
