C2 Capital completes an acquisition of a P2P's pillar gaming company

C2 Capital AB is in final negotiations to supplement its investments with an acquisition of a UK company that has developed a P2P betting exchange with a new twist on the world's most popular, iconic and exciting games.

The business can quickly generate cash flow and includes exciting P2P pool sports games and pool gamescasino products. The leading casino product is a P2P* prediction game called "prediction roulette" where users can also participate in a P2P pooled jackpot.

The acquisition also includes participation in a groundbreaking business opportunity comprising gaming and investments in the African gaming industry. The online gaming sector in Africa is expanding rapidly, driven by rapid population growth, high 4G penetration, smartphone ownership, data consumption, mobile wallet usage, and the introduction of new products, localized technologies, and pricing models.

The UK team intends to fully utilise the potential of the African market by specialising in, identifying, and building regional partnerships, with the aim of creating multiple "tier1" pan-African betting and entertainment brands, using proprietary technologies that solve the challenge of customer retention and building trust through targeted innovation through rewards and game customization.

Globally, it is estimated that 1.6 billion people regularly play 4.2 billion different games at least once a year. The value of the global gaming market will amount to USD 459 billion by 2026 according to forecasts.

The acquisition is in line with C2 Capital's strategy to operate as a leading investor in mobile gaming platforms.
