C2It Commercial Collections, a new business which helps SMEs optimise invoice collection, debt recovery and cash flow, launches on Thursday this week at the Elite Business National Conference and Exhibition in London.

C2It’s bespoke software enables clients to enjoy a tailored, sustainable and holistic service.

With an estimated £31 billion due to UK SMEs in outstanding debt, C2It offers business owners a formal structure for invoice collection and debt recovery. This will free up time for clients to develop their businesses and put them on the best possible footing to seek funding, credit or other financial services.

Emma Cooksley-Lewis, director of the new business, said: “The launch of C2It Commercial Collections is a very exciting moment for us. We are ready to help SMEs claim what is rightfully theirs, become more profitable and fulfil their potential.”

Following an initial free consultation, C2It tailors its services to ensure no client pays for support they don’t need. Services include:

Consultation

Through the initial consultation, C2It assesses every client’s existing processes and systems. This extends to the optimisation of job roles with the aim of supporting accounting and cash-flow objectives. From here, C2It prepares a bespoke framework to support the stability and growth of the business.

Terms of Business

C2It ensures terms of business are enforceable and aligned to the client’s commercial objectives. For clients without formal terms of business, C2It will help produce a document appropriate to their industry sector. Once in place, quality procedures keep the terms of business fully up-to-date.

Invoice Management

Through monthly contact, C2It gives clients relevant advice and advance warning of potential late payments. Experienced with all major accounting systems, including Opera, Sage, Xero and IRIS, C2It contacts clients when invoices become overdue and refers critically late payers to the debt service.

Debt Recovery Support

Tracing services help determine the status of debtors and the likelihood of success when pursuing aged debt. C2It advises on the most effective course of action for bad debt and implements agreed recovery plans.

The Elite Business National Conference and Exhibition brings professional speakers, thought leaders, industry experts and exhibitors together under one roof. The event, which features seminars and business workshops, takes place at The Old Truman Brewery, Shoreditch, London, on 10 and 11 April 2014. C2it Commercial Collections is exhibiting on stand 154.
