Cabonline Merges Taxi Companies in Western Sweden

Taxi Väst AB forms a consolidated entity in Western Sweden, together with Cabonline’s other businesses in the region: TaxiKurir, TOPCAB, Taxi Jönköping and Sverigetaxi Borås. Leading the new entity is current CEO of Taxi Väst, Ingo Asplund.

In December 2017 Cabonline Group acquired Taxi Väst AB, which operates from the regions of Ale and Lilla Edet to Tanum and Strömstad. Since then, work towards synergizing the different taxi companies in the region has been underway, leading up to the consolidated entity, announced today.

“The consolidation gives us a strengthened position in the market”, comments Ingo Asplund, CEO of Cabonline Region Väst. “We are increasing our presence and availability in the region. Through our different brands and strong local understanding we can better serve our customers different needs and requirements.”

The consolidated entity comprises of close to 500 taxis, making it the leading taxi company in Western Sweden.
