Cabonline’s new booking and dispatch system implemented across Sweden
Cabonline has now completed the rollout of the iCabbi booking and dispatch system across Sweden. The implementation covers all Swedish regions, cities and vehicle fleets and marks one of the largest technological transformations in the company’s history.
Through the transition to a fully cloud-based platform, Cabonline strengthens its ability to develop operations, improve efficiency and create a more unified experience for customers, drivers and transport providers.
“This is an important milestone for Cabonline. The implementation of iCabbi strengthens control, quality and efficiency across the business and provides a strong foundation for continued development and innovation,” says Charlotta Söderlund, CEO and Group President of Cabonline Group.
The new system includes booking, dispatch, settlement as well as customer and driver applications. Close to 3,000 vehicles are now connected to the platform in Sweden.
The shared platform creates better conditions for efficient traffic planning and route optimisation, which may help reduce empty mileage and lower climate impact. At the same time, the system strengthens operational control and compliance with internal and external requirements through improved integration between booking, dispatch and taximeter functions.
The implementation has been carried out together with technology partner iCabbi. The rollout in Finland will be completed during the second quarter, and preparations are underway for a launch in Norway later this year.
