Ixat Intressenter AB (publ) appoints Peter Viinapuu as new CEO of Cabonline Group as Thomas Ekman leaves the company

Ixat Intressenter AB (publ) (”Ixat” or the “Company”) today announces that the Board of Directors has appointed Peter Viinapuu as the new CEO of the Company. Peter Viinapuu succeeds Thomas Ekman who will leave the company. Thomas remains with the company in order to facilitate a smooth handover.

Peter Viinapuu has a strong background in the transportation industry. He joins the company from MTR Nordic AB where he was president and CEO over the company’s four operations and prior to that CEO of the MTR Tunnelbanan for five years. Prior to MTR Nordic, Peter has a long carrier in senior positions within SAS, the most recent as COO in SAS Sverige.

Jon Risfelt, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company comments: "Under Thomas’s management, Cabonline has undergone a successful modernization as well as expansive growth with many acquisitions, consolidation of the Swedish market, continued development in Norway and taken a major step into the Finnish market for the upcoming deregulation. Peter’s date of entry is not set but is expected to occur no later than the first quarter of 2018 and Thomas will stay with the company, facilitating an effective transition process.
