Caffeine appoints Cohen as sales manager
Coffee specialist’s expansion puts emphasis on customer support
Ben Cohen has joined Caffeine Limited as sales manager. The appointment comes at a time of rapid expansion for the company – as well as distributing Schaerer and Gaggia equipment, the company is about to launch its own range of roasted coffees.
Ben brings plenty of experience to the table – mainly from having worked as an operator. He was general manager with Loch Fyne restaurants and owned a small chain of restaurants himself. He’s also worked in hospitality recruitment. “Ben has a huge passion for the industry and, having been there, he totally understands the operator’s point of view,” says Justin Stockwell, managing director of Caffeine Limited. “We’re all about making a difference to our customers – Ben’s knowledge is enhancing our ability to deliver that difference.”
Ben will be working closely with Caffeine Limited’s distributors and end users, helping them to get more out of their coffee service. “Like most people in the hospitality industry, I’m a huge coffee drinker,” he says. “I see Caffeine Limited as being all about quality – not only in terms of the equipment and the coffee itself, but also service and training. Too few coffee companies give enough attention to customer support – that’s going to be my main focus.”
Outside of work Ben, 35, is an ex-rugby player and is based in the Greater London area.
Caffeine Ltd is one of the UK’s leading coffee machines specialists, distributing brands including Schaerer and Gaggia. The company also offers a comprehensive choice of coffee service accessories. For more information visit caffeineonline.co.uk.
