Running for Rockyview

CALGARY – More than 130 movers and shakers will Run for Rockyview on September 12, 2012.  The run allows staff teams to raise money for their unit/department/program with 100 per cent of all money raised directly benefiting their unit. This year Calgary Health Trust’s Rockyview Hospital Development Council will award the top three fundraising units with matching funds totaling up to $6,000.

Since inception, over $38,000 has been raised by staff and volunteers to support a variety of programs and services at the hospital including the emergency department, eye clinic, neonatal intensive care unit, internal medicine, mental health, and cardiac unit.

 

Media are invited to the Run for Rockyview and there will also be an opportunity to conduct interviews prior to the run.
