Donation of games and toys boosts the spirits of sick kids during the holidays
CALGARY – Just in time for the holiday season, the Rotaract Club of Calgary Metro will bring smiles to the faces of children in the Pediatrics and Neonatal Intensive Care units at the Peter Lougheed Centre (PLC) with a donation of games, toys and more. The Rotaract Club of Mount Royalis a service club for 18 to 30 year-olds affiliated with the Rotary Club. Since 2006 they have been donating assorted toys, games, books and sleepers in support of PLCs Pediatric Unit. Last year they donated a total of $4,677.48, $2,570 of that was toys and supplies and $2,106 was cash from their first wine
