Escape to your own private wine country estate for the grape harvest season with HammerSky Vineyards’ midweek special.  The special rate of $325 per couple, per night, includes a picnic lunch for two and a bottle of HammerSky’s estate wine.  The 100-year-old farmhouse is nestled on a 50-acre vineyard with rolling hills. For the 2015 harvest season, Fess Parker Wine Country Inn & Spa in Santa Barbara County introduces its new Friday Harvest Lunches.  From hand-sorting to punch-down, the chef-prepared, family-style lunches with the Parker family and winemaking teams offer a behind-the-scenes look at the Fess Parker Winery harvest. The winery’s top single vineyard wines will be paired with the menu of the day, which will include a shrimp boil, beef bourguignon, jambalaya and cassoulet.  The lunches will be held on the first and third Fridays in September and October and are $70 per person or $48 for wine club members.
