SACRAMENTO, CA [February 27, 2018]--As purveyors of romance, many California B&Bs and boutique hotels are ideal destinations for elopements and small weddings: couples can exchange vows in an intimate garden surrounded by beautiful blooms, amid a majestic forest, or on a bluff overlooking the ocean. There are more than 100 members of the California Association of Boutique & Breakfast Inns (CABBI) that offer wedding services.  Many of the inns also offer elopement packages to save couples the time, money and the stress of planning a wedding.

Napa’s Churchill Manor, an exquisite 1889 mansion in Napa, is a stunning venue for that special day.  Customizable packages might include a two- or three-night stay, wedding bouquet, boutonniere, wedding cake, and champagne toast.  Couples have their choice of ceremony location: inside the grand parlors, on the covered veranda overlooking the gardens, or amid the beautifully landscaped grounds.  A la carte extras—photography, live music, in-room couples’ massages, a winery and picnic tour, or a sit-down dinner—are also available. For couples tempted to say “I do” to it all, the all-inclusive Ultimate Intimate Elopement package covers every detail imaginable. For details, check out the manor’s Elopements page.

Farmhouse Inn, a Four-Diamond property in the heart of Russian River Wine Country, offers three unique wedding packages: Farmhouse Simplicity includes a customized floral bouquet and boutonniere, photographer, officiant, wedding coordinator, and nightly turn-down service with homemade cookies and milk. Farmhouse Deluxe adds a Michelin-starred four-course dinner with wine pairings, tub turn-down service with candles, champagne on ice, and the inn’s world-famous Sonoma Bath Bar. And Farmhouse Luxury turns the romance up even further with the couple’s choice of local red or white wine, artisan cheeses upon arrival, wedding cake from Patisserie Angelica, 60-minute couples’ massage, and signature wedding gift.
