SACRAMENTO, CA [February 28, 2019]--As purveyors of romance, many California B&Bs and boutique hotels are ideal destinations for elopements and small weddings: couples can exchange vows in an intimate garden surrounded by beautiful blooms or on a bluff overlooking the ocean. There are over 80 members of the California Association of Boutique & Breakfast Inns (CABBI) that offer wedding venues and services.  Many of the inns also offer elopement packages to save couples the time, money and the stress of planning a wedding. 

The Monkey Tree Hotel in Palm Springs invites guests to enjoy special pricing on elopements or small weddings. The “Just the Couple” wedding package ($850) includes a bottle of prosecco, a dozen roses, a non-denominational lawn ceremony, champagne and a mini wedding cake, flowers in the couple’s favorite color, and a 10% discount on any available room. Fess Parker Wine Country Inn’s Santa Ynez Valley elopement package is ideal for a small wedding. In addition to a selection of venues and stunning backdrops for the ceremony, the package includes a post-nuptial celebration in a private dining room with rental fees and minimums waived. Available Sunday through Thursday, the elopement package comes with a one-night stay, officiant, one hour of photography with a digital library of 100 images, a bridal bouquet, a boutonniere, a vase arrangement, and a celebratory bottle of Fesstivity.
