Built in 1882 as a wedding gift, the MacCallum House Inn stands in the heart of Mendocino village and is filled with the charm and romance of a bygone era. The inn offers a choice of two elopement packages with the booking of two nights' accommodations. “Keeping it Simple” includes an officiant, a bottle of sparkling wine in the room following the ceremony, and a five-course chef tasting dinner with a wine pairing for two. The romantic mountain lodge specializes in elopements and small weddings, with packages ranging from $495 to $1,995. Their “Just for the Two” package includes a wedding consultant, minister, ceremony and a champagne toast. The “Wedding and Honeymoon” package includes all of the above plus a rose bouquet, boutonnière and two nights' lodging with a gourmet breakfast, wine and appetizers. The “Dreams Come True” package includes everything in the “Wedding and Honeymoon” package, but with a ceremony for up to either 15 or 30 guests, custom engraved champagne flutes and a wedding cake with cake service. Tie the knot with a simple but elegant wedding in the heart of Sonoma County at The Gables Wine Country Inn. The Victorian mansion is nestled on three-and-a-half acres and offers a variety of tranquil settings.
