Since 1986, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation has been at the forefront of a nation-wide movement to raise awareness and mobilize action on breast cancer. Today, the Foundation is the leading organization in Canada dedicated to creating a future without breast cancer. Our investments in vital research, education and health promotion programs have led to progress in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care. Our goal is to reduce the number of people diagnosed with breast cancer, reduce mortality for those who develop the disease, and improve quality of life for those affected.

Employees across Canada leave traditional work attire behind and Get Pink’d in support of a future without breast cancer

TORONTO, March 10, 2015 – Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) will hold its annual Get Pink’d Day on Thursday, March 12, 2015. Employees at over 200 businesses across Canada, including CIBC and EllisDon, will ditch their traditional work apparel and show their support for CBCF by making a donation and going to work dressed in pink. Campaigns like Get Pink’d provide a way for communities to make a positive difference in a cause that directly affects hundreds of thousands of individuals and their families.
