Candyking signs three-year deal with Coop Denmark – Candyking strengthens its position in the Danish discount market
Candyking, the leading supplier of pick & mix in the Nordic region, expands its present deal with Coop Denmark and signs a three-year agreement. The agreement includes 650 of Coop Denmark’s stores. Coop Denmark’s total market share in the Danish food retail market is 37 %.
New in the agreement are some 225 stores in Coop’s Discount chain, Fakta. Candyking thereby becomes a distinct actor in the important Danish discount market, which accounts for 35-40 % of the total Danish food retail market.
Denmark accounts for nearly 10 % of Candyking’s total business and the company today has a leading position in the Danish market.
