Capio Nomination Committee proposal of Board members to the Annual General Meeting 2016
The Nomination Committee of Capio AB (publ.) intends to propose the following composition of Board members to the AGM, May 11, 2016.
Reelection of:
Anders Narvinger, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Gunnar Nemeth, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Gun Nilsson and Fredrik Näslund.
New Board members:
Birgitta Stymne Göransson, Pascale Richetta, Michael Flemming and Arnaud Bosquet.
Neal Dignum and Håkan Winberg have declined reelection.
Summary of biographies, new Board members:
Birgitta Stymne Göransson (b. 1957)
Birgitta Stymne Göransson is currently working as Senior Industrial Advisor and as non-executive Board member in a series of Nordic companies, among others Elekta, Sophiahemmet, Medivir (Chairman) and BioInvent. Prior to her full time Board engagements in 2013, Birgitta served as Group CEO of Memira 2010-2013 and CEO of Semantix 2006-2010. During her career, Birgitta has held several executive management positions in Swedish companies such as Telefos, Åhléns , KF and Gambro as well as having worked five years at McKinsey&Company.
Birgitta Stymne Göransson holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and an MBA from Harvard Business School in the US.
Pascale Richetta (b.1959)
Pascale Richetta is currently Executive Vice President at the biopharma company UCB in Belgium. Pascale joined UCB in February 2016 from the pharmaceutical company AbbVie where she was Vice President Western Europe and Canada (2013-2016). Prior to those positions, Pascale held several executive management positions in Abbott Laboratories (2004-2013) in France and Belgium, Glaxo Smith Kline (1994-2004) in France and the UK, Beaufour-Ipsen and Servier in France.
Pascale Richetta is a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Poitiers in France (1986).
Michael Flemming (b. 1957)
Michael Flemming is executive business advisor and Board member of Medicover Holdings. Michael has an extensive career within the healthcare industry joining the South African company Afrox Healthcare in 1994. After various executive management positions in the company, Michael was appointed Managing Director of Afrox Healthcare Limited in 2001. In 2005, the company was delisted and became Life Healthcare Group Limited and after five years in private custody, the company made an IPO in 2010. After further expansion, Michael retired from Life Healthcare in September 2014.
Michael Flemming holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor of law and BProc degrees from the University of South Africa (UNISA) as well as an AMP from Harvard Business School in the US.
Arnaud Bosquet (b.1983)
Arnaud Bosquet is a Vice President at Apax Partners LLP, based in London. Arnaud already served as a board member to Capio from 2012 to 2013. Prior to joining Apax Partners LLP in 2011, Arnaud worked in Deutsche Bank's Investment Banking division.
Arnaud Bosquet holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD and an MSc in General Engineering from École Centrale de Lille, France.
