Capio acquires Marsh Health in UK Capio AB is strengthening its position in the occupational healthcare sector in England through the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Marsh Health Limited (MHL), the third largest occupational healthcare company in UK. Capio will be taking possession immediately. This is an important step in the creation of a pan European player within occupational healthcare. MHL will co-operate closely with AB Previa. "-This acquisition together with the already Capio-owned Florence Nightingale Hospitals sets up the base for Capios future growth in UK", says Per Båtelson, CEO of Capio. "- The growth potential in the UK market is high. Current market size is far below the Swedish considering the size of population. The increased focus on Human Capital opens up the market for occupational healthcare and more and more often the service becomes a part of benefit programmes for employees. The Company, which started in 1987, provides a wide range of occupational health services in the UK, including fixed site and mobile medical services and health advisory services, to approximately 170 clients.
