Capitainer Recruits New Sales and Distribution Manager to Strengthen the Sales Organization

Capitainer, a leading Swedish medtech company that specializes in user-friendly self-sampling solutions, has recruited Ylva Andell Elias as the new Sales and Distribution Manager. She will focus on continuing to develop the company's international sales. Ylva Andell Elias brings extensive international sales experience in diagnostics and medical research having previously held prominent roles in several growing companies within the industry.

Capitainer's self-sampling solutions are now being implemented in several commercial projects across different markets, confirming the products' usability and high quality. These projects include areas such as transplantation, diabetes and hypothyroidism, where Capitainer's technology helps enable self-sampling at-home. The results from these implementations confirm both the technical capacity and the growing demand for the company's innovative solutions.

To meet this demand and continue its expansion, Capitainer is now strengthening its sales organization by recruiting Ylva Andell Elias as Sales and Distribution Manager. She will have a particular focus on expanding international sales and distribution. Ylva Andell Elias has been working in life science sales since 2008, and her previous roles include key positions in both Europe and the USA at companies such as Quanterix, Takara, and Olink. She most recently came from a position at Akoya Biosciences.

Ylva Andell Elias' extensive knowledge and international experience will play an important role in strengthening Capitainer's sales organization and supporting the company's continued global expansion.
