CS80 Luxury Automotive Wax from Car-Skin

After months of development with Car-Skin, Winning Formulas is proud to announce the release of the CS80 range of high-end automotive waxes. In keeping with the tradition of only releasing products that are superior to anything else within a similar price range, Car-Skin has now targeted the very cream of the detailing market as a suitable benchmark.
“At the top end of the market the available products are normally extremely good, but the prices are based on brand reputation rather than a true reflection of material and manufacturing costs,” says Bert Youell, MD of Winning Formulas. When using top quality Brazilian Carnauba wax as a base, the raw ingredients are always going to be expensive, even before bespoke carrier solutions are developed. However, Car-Skin has managed to create a pair of stunning waxes for £249.99 and £299.99 that rival those costing five times as much.
Both CS80 Road and CS80 Show contain over 80% carnauba but they are as easy to apply as any wax thanks to secret ingredients that keep them soft and pliable. Designed to be buffed by hand or machine, the CS80 range can be used by everyone from detailing professionals to enthusiasts. Tested with all paint types, from vintage cellulose to modern acrylic and lacquers, the CS80 range is suitable for any automobile.
“There are many aspects that need to be considered when developing a wax, from gloss and longevity, to ease of use and flexibility,” says Bert. Originally Car-Skin wanted to create a single wax that would score full marks in all departments, but this was simply impossible without making unacceptable compromises. As a consequence CS80 Road was developed to suit road cars where longevity is an important factor. CS80 Show was designed for concours shows, where gloss and shine are the main priority. “When trying to combine the two features the prototype formulation proved too difficult for all but experienced detailers, and the application time made it impractical. This is why we came up with two separate products - there is now a choice so clients can choose the most appropriate wax for their needs,” says Bert.
