Hand-picked Chief of Staff joins Cardo Health on its mission to democratize healthcare and improve millions of lives in emerging markets
Mikaela Willman is joining Cardo Health as Chief of Staff and Head of Special Projects. Previously a top-rated Engagement Manager at McKinsey and, most recently, CFO at e-commerce scale-up Reforma, Mikaela brings 8 years of highly relevant experience to Cardo Health.
As CFO at scaleup Reforma, Mikaela’s top focus was on professionalizing the business and enabling data-driven decision-making. As such, she developed a purchasing strategy and built the required tools to automate data-driven decision-making and optimize inventory, among other things.
Prior to Reforma, Mikaela was a top-rated Engagement Manager at McKinsey, known for her experience in serving Private Equity with a hands-on approach, working side by side with portfolio companies in transforming their businesses. She has led projects throughout the portfolio lifecycle, spanning from the due diligence process to the implementation of transformation programs.
Before joining McKinsey, Mikaela worked in Business Development and Central Controlling at H&M, leading the scoping and implementation of several Advanced Analytics projects, such as data-driven design. In addition, she was responsible for advancing the online agenda of H&M by leading and supporting omni projects across the organization, prioritizing IT projects, and developing new ways of working for online controlling.
Given Mikaela’s broad experience ranging from leading due diligence processes to accelerating digital organizations, she is a strong addition to the Cardo Health team and will drive many of Cardo Health’s high-priority projects.
