Cardo has entered into an agreement on five turnkey pumping stations for the municipality of Sandnes in Norway. The order is worth approximately SEK 35 million. Construction of the plants will begin in late August.

The order that has been signed between the municipality of Sandnes on the southwest coast of Norway and Cardo’s division Wastewater Technology Solutions, with its corporate brand ABS, is for five turnkey pumping stations for the handling of wastewater. The order includes delivery and installation of all necessary technical equipment such as dry-pit pumps, tanks, pipe systems, and control and monitoring systems.

The plants will be delivered gradually during the fall of 2008 and the spring of 2009. All five pumping stations will be in operation in the summer of 2009.

“The order for the municipality of Sandnes points to our ability to create technically advanced solutions and exemplifies the fact that turnkey concepts are the right strategy and that our customers are looking for this type of competence,” says Peter Aru, Cardo’s President and CEO.
