Birgitta Gunneflo proposed for LinkMed’s board

LinkMed’s nominating committee proposes Birgitta Gunneflo as a new member of the board of directors of LinkMed. Birgitta Gunneflo is CEO of Kronans Droghandel and has a scientific background in biotechnology and business experience from management positions in diagnostics, medical technology and consumer products in the healthcare sector. She is also on the board of directors of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Science’s Business Executives Council.

The nominating committee proposes the re-election of the board’s other members and that Monica Caneman continues as chairman. Agneta Edberg left the board in January 2008 when she assumed the position of COO and VP senior venture manager at LinkMed.

LinkMed’s annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on April 22, 2008 at 16:00 CET at a venue connected to the company’s offices at Drottninggatan 33 in Stockholm. In addition to the customary items, it will be proposed that the board is given a mandate to carry out non-cash issues amounting to no more than 870,000 shares for acquisition purposes. Registration

Shareholders who wish to participate in the AGM must be entered into the share register maintained by the Swedish Securities Register Center VPC no later than Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Shareholders whose shares are nominee registered must temporarily register their shares with VPC in their own name to be entitled to participate in the AGM.
