Lars Martin new senior venture manager

LinkMed has appointed Lars Martin as senior venture manager. In this capacity, Lars Martin will mainly be engaged in the portfolio companies AbSorber, Novahep and Oncolog. He will also play an important role in the extension of LinkMed’s portfolio.

With extensive experience from leading positions in the pharmaceutical industry, Lars Martin will reinforce our team,” says LinkMed’s CEO Ingemar Lagerlöf. Before joining LinkMed, Lars Martin held the position as Sales & Marketing Director at Merck Sharp & Dohme. He has also held the position as CEO for Glaxo Sweden as well as leading positions at Sanofi and the CRO company CDC. Lars will be a member of LinkMed’s executive team. Together with inventors, LinkMed develops new companies in life science by supporting them in early stages by, aside from providing capital, also assuming an active operational role. The company was formed in 1998 and today has a portfolio of nine companies, where the most advanced are about to enter commercialization phase. The portfolio will longer term be extended to comprise 15-20 companies.
