Allenex receive XM-ONE® approval for sale in Mexico

Allenex application to sell AbSorbers product for antibody detection, XM-ONE®, in Mexico has been approved by local regulatory authorities. Allenex receives part of €2.6M EU grant in collaboration with EUROSTAM

Allenex announces that Allenex group company AbSorber, together with EUROSTAM, a consortium of European Transplant Centers, has been supported by a € 2.6 million grant as part of the European Commission 7th framework programme (FP7). This is part of an ongoing Europe-wide strategy to enhance transplantation of highly sensitized patients where risk of complication is high due to genetic mismatches. The main objective of the three year project is to determine the clinical value of implementing a Europe-wide acceptable HLA mismatch program to facilitate more as well as safer transplantations

AbSorber receives European patent protection for its transplantation cross match-test XM-ONE

LinkMed’s subsidiary AbSorber has received patent protection for its transplantation cross match-test XM-ONE® in the European countries. The patent was previously approved in New Zealand which was the first country to approve a patent for AbSorbers product. The European countries are highly prioritized markets for AbSorber and the patent approval is an important milestone in Absorbers intellectual property strategy.The patent was granted by the European Patent Office (EPO) and AbSorber has also patent applications pending for XM-ONE® in the US, Japan and in other key transplantation markets.
