Carnegie appoints Claus Gregersen as Head of its Danish activities

Claus Gregersen has been appointed Head of Carnegie Bank in Denmark as from 1st May 2010. Furthermore, he will be part of the Carnegie Group management team.

Claus Gregersen has extensive experience from the financial sector and investment banking in particular. Among others, he has held positions such as Managing Director of Alfred Berg in Denmark, Managing Director of Alfred Berg in UK and Head of European Equities and EMEA at ABN Amro Bank. Most recently he has worked with private equity investments and asset management in Select Partners, and he also holds a number of board assignments. ”The appointment of Claus Gregersen is an important step to strengthen our presence in Denmark and regain our position as the leading investment bank in all Nordic countries. At the end of 2008, Peter Fly Lundby Hansen was constituted managing director of Carnegie Denmark besides his duties as Head of Equities. After 1 May 2010 Peter Fly Lundby Hansen will continue in his position as head of the Danish equities team.
