Carnegie has once again been recognised as the Best Investment Bank in Sweden, according to international business magazine Euromoney. The recognition follows collective assessment of a number of competences among thousands of global banks.

The annual evaluation by international business magazine Euromoney covers a review of thousands of global banks and their ability to deliver solutions to clients across a range of products or disciplines. Competences within areas such as advisory in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity capital markets transactions (ECM) and debt capital markets transactions (DCM) have been collectively assessed for the period April 2015 –March 31, 2016.

On Wednesday, July 6, Euromoney awarded Carnegie the Best Investment Bank in Sweden title, with the following motivation:

“In investment banking, a booming IPO market played into the hands of Carnegie. The local firm can claim to have been instrumental in the market’s success, helping secure harder commitments by cornerstone investors. It was bookrunner on 13 Swedish IPOs during the period and co-lead manager on one.”

Björn Jansson, CEO of Carnegie, comments:

“Carnegie has had a strong position within ECM for a long time on the Nordic market, and participated in over half of all IPOs during the past five years. We have gradually also strengthened our advisory within M&A and DCM on the Swedish market to create an even more powerful client offer and breadth within investment banking. We are therefore proud of the award, as it is a recognition of our efforts and ambitions.”
