Carnegie tops Swedish analyst ranking

In Financial Hearings’ annual ranking of Swedish brokers, no other company was awarded more top rankings in research sectors than Carnegie. The ranking was based on interviews with the largest financial institutions in Sweden. Carnegie achieved a top ranking in nine out of a total of 19 surveyed sectors. Peter Lagerlöf, head of research at Carnegie, was named best overall analyst in Sweden for the third consecutive year.

Carnegie’s analysts topped the ranking in nine out of 19 categories. Carnegie’s team was ranked first in the following sectors: Strategy, Macro, Health Care Equipment & Services, Pharmaceuticals, IT, Forest, Telecom Operators, Small Cap and Real Estate. Carnegie was ranked second or third in an additional seven categories and achieved an overall shared second-place ranking in the survey.

The top honours in the Analyst of the Year category were awarded to Peter Lagerlöf, head of research at Carnegie. In addition, Kristoffer Liljeberg-Svensson was ranked overall number 4, Lena Österberg and Johan Sjöberg number 5 and Tobias Kaj number 8. This means that Carnegie had five analysts among the ten highest ranked analysts in the survey.
