Kristofer Liljeberg, one of the most experienced and highly regarded equity analysts in Sweden, is the new Head of Swedish Research at Carnegie. Mr Liljeberg has been with Carnegie for 25 years, where his principal focus has been healthcare sector research.

“Research is a cornerstone of all Carnegie advisory. Our ambition is to maintain the broadest research coverage of Nordic companies with no ‘sponsored research’. In line with our plans to further expand the number of companies we cover, we have recently carried out several recruitments across a range of sectors,” says Liljeberg.

Carnegie has the highest reputation in equity research and brokerage in the Swedish market according to Kantar Sifo Prospera’s annual client survey, in which institutional investors evaluate Swedish market providers. Carnegie has been ranked #1 in Swedish equity research, execution and corporate access for five years running. “Our equity research has been highly successful in recent years and I am certain that Kristofer, with his depth of experience, will continue that trend along with the team,” says Henric Falkenberg, Head of Carnegie Securities.

“For all of us, 2020 was an exceptional year.  The market moved rapidly and the work was intense, to say the least. Although valuations are in some cases excessive, we have a positive outlook on the stock market as we move into 2021. In addition, we still have several interesting IPOs out in the market. It is going to be an exciting year in many ways,” says Liljeberg.

Carnegie is the foremost financial advisor in the Nordics. We bring investors together with entrepreneurs and companies to generate growth for clients, owners and society. To put it simply, a meeting place for knowledge and capital. Carnegie is made up of around 600 colleagues across offices in six countries and distributed among three segments, Securities, Private Banking and Investment Banking.
