Following are dates, times and a detailed description of each session:

Maximizing the Value of Your Avaya Business Advocate Contact Center Software

Presented by Zach Shankle of Carousel Industries (May 23, 4:15 p.m.)

Avaya Business Advocate is now an entitlement with Communication Manager 6.x for customers with Contact Center Elite software, providing a tremendous opportunity for Contact Centers. When correctly planned and implemented, Advocate offers Contact Centers the ability to connect the dots between business strategies and contact center operations, providing a unifying context that can quickly generate measureable ROI. This session will provide a brief overview of Avaya Business Advocate's features, followed by discussion of the Advocate implementation planning process. This session will also feature a case study review that demonstrates how a well-planned implementation addressing business strategies and operational directives can generate truly awesome results.

Data Center Efficiencies
Presented by Michael Burgess and Jeff Hewson of Carousel Industries (May 23, 10:30 a.m.)
A comprehensive overview of key data center components, focusing on power & cooling, architecture & design and security & acceleration. This triumvirate generates tremendous efficiencies within the data center.  For example, cooling alone can account for up to 55% of a data center's TCO. A correctly designed and installed UPS (Uninterruptible Power System) can reduce an organization's carbon footprint by 30-65%. Green initiatives provide additional incentive for UPS implementation. We will also address the inherent benefits resulting from a well-designed system architecture leveraging (VENA MPLS / VPLS) and secure data center solution technologies, concluding with an open discussion on customer feedback and needs.

Visual Communications for the Enterprise

Co-presented by Dan Hofferty of Carousel Industries (May 22, 1:00 p.m.)

We will define enterprise class visual communications solutions and discuss how successful integration can extend the customer's collaborative abilities to the enterprise large or small, near or far. Integrating this technology can turn meeting spaces from separate technology silos into network assets, enhancing your ability to collaborate while cutting costs and travel, extending your community beyond traditional office constructs, improving organizational collaboration and being “greener”. The Avaya audio video collaboration solution is a fundamental element of an overall visual communications enterprise strategy. We will discuss specific technology components including telepresence, mobile solutions, distance learning, high definition video conferencing and more, in the context of their operating from a centralized interface.

Unleash the Power of Avaya Flare

Presented by Phil Magnuszewski of Carousel Industries (May 25, 9:45 a.m.)

In this age of ubiquitous computing, the Avaya Flare speeds critical decision-making and allows you to get business done even while away from your corporate office. Learn how your organization can take advantage of this technology by extending your desktop to the Avaya Flare.

Features and Benefits of Unified Communications Solutions

Presented by Jason Aubee of Carousel Industries (May 25, 9:45 a.m.)
We will discuss the benefits and values of multi-channel unified communications solutions, focusing on technologies providing recorded voice, email, SMS and video as enablement tools for any enterprise. Our case study will feature a government entity that experienced multiple benefits across the organization as a result of implementing UCS. Measurable efficiencies are sometimes more difficult to pinpoint within a government organization. This UCS made the clients’ information more actionable, made resources easier and faster to find, provided expanded access to individuals within the enterprise, and made it easier to navigate the enterprise despite its size. Before and after scenarios will demonstrate these efficiencies.
